Gazprom doesn’t need external investments for South Stream

Gazprom is ready to work without external investment during the construction of the South Stream pipeline, deputy CEO of the company Alexander Medvedev stated.

Medvedev noted that the most possible is use of project financing mechanisms. They have been used during the construction of Sakhalin-2 and "Nord Stream already. At the same time, the future of South Stream still depends on the resolution of the Ukrainian crisis.
