Energy Ministry of Bulgaria: all requirements of the EU are met in implementation of the South Stream project

Bulgaria has met all requirements of European legislation during the implementation of the South Stream pipeline project, stated the Ministry of the Economy and Energy of Bulgaria.

"Bulgaria, a member country of the European Union, has repeatedly and categorically stated that it complies with the European legal framework in the implementation of the South Stream project in the Bulgarian territory," - the document says. It is spread in connection with the requirement of the European Commission to suspend work on the South Stream project because of violations of European law.
