Changes in Krasnoyarsk subdivision of Polyus Gold

Polyus Gold OJSC, the largest gold producer in Russia, reports that the head of the Krasnoyarsk subdivision, K. Martynov, has decided to quit to start other projects.

A. Barilyuk is appointed the head of the Krasnoyarsk subdivision.

A. Barilyuk leaves “Kazzinc”, one of the largest producers of non-ferrous metals in Kazakhstan, for Polyus Gold. Since 2012 he has headed “Altyntau Kokshetau” (Kokchetaev) that develops the largest gold depsoit in Kazakhstan – the Vasilkovsky. Before that, since 2008, he has been chief engineer, then EO of “Altyntau Vostok” (Ust-Kamenogorsk). From 1984 till 2007 Mr. Barilyuk worked in Kazakhmys where he occupied a number of managing positions. He graduated from the Karaganda State Technical University and the Kazakh National Technical University (Alma-Ata), Ph.D. in technical Sciences.
