In May 2013, the average daily oil production increased by 0.1% to 10.48 million barrels a day in Russia, setting a record due to Rosneft, the Ministry of Energy reports. The total production in May remained at the level of April, at a rate of 44.328 million tons. Gas yield declined by 9% versus April, due to a decline in production in Gazprom, that suffered from weak seasonal demand.
Daily production in Rosneft increased by 0.15% due to growth in production at the recently launched Vankor deposit in Eastern Siberia. It increased in BP-TNK by 0.4%.
