Chelyabinsk metal suppliers and pipe producers discuss their partnership

ChTPZ and Metalloinvest have discussed supply of pipe billets and rolled metal products. Coordinating Council was held with the participation of the general director of ChTPZ Group Alexander Grubman and Metalloinvest’s director of sales on the domestic market Andrei Prosyanik, the press centre of ChTPZ reports.

The metal suppliers and manufacturers of pipes discussed the quality of sheet, the development of new steel grades and delivery times. Due to integration of production and management processes the supply of pipe billets - from order receipt to shipment of the product - takes about three weeks. Ural Steel is one of the strategic partners for ChTPZ Group. Steelmakers produce about a third of the volume of produced pipes, including double-submerged large-diameter pipes from metal of Ural Steel.
