In 2015, decline in gold mining by 3.2% is expected in the Khabarovsk region

In 2015, the Khabarovsk region expects the decline in gold production by 3.2% to 19.175 tons, the Regional Ministry of Environment says.

The platinum mining is expected to be 3 tons, which is by 25.7% more than in 2014. The reduction in gold production is caused by:

- deterioration of the geological conditions at Mnogovershinnoye deposit: reduction of the average content from 3 to 2.62 g/t - minus 455 kg in the total production;
- stop of the mining and processing plant Tas-Yuryakh for 3 months due to a lack of prepared ore reserves - minus 660.4 kg;
