Enhanced oil recovery is being improved at OJSC “Slavneft-Megionneftegas”. New technologies on conformance control in the intake wells will be tested at the deposits of the enterprise in 2013.
The implementation of a conformance control programme contributes to an increase of oil production. The results is achieved at the expense of pumping high viscosity fluid into disposal wells, which displaces oil and provides steady sweep efficiency of the productive strata. Such systematic operations contribute to the intensification of stock selection in all stratum depth. There also reduced the volume of the produced fluid together with an increase of oil production. It results in savings on costs on electric power.
