The Irkutsk Region Government and representatives of Rosneft discussed the stop of "Angarsk polymer plant" (APP), caused by the breakdown of unit for the production of ethylene and propylene (EP-300), the website of the regional government informs.
Participants of the meeting discussed the situation in the company. The head of the region expressed concern about the situation and the way in which it would affect the social situation in Angarsk, expressing hope that the emergency stop of the enterprise will not affect its employees, in particular, the receipt of wages.
