Gazprom ignores new tariffs of transit through the Ukraine

For a while, Russian monopolist Gazprom has refused to pay for gas transit through the territory of the Ukraine on a new, high tariffs. This was announced by Naftogaz Ukrainy’s director on business development Yuri Vitrenko.

"For a while they simply don’t accept the new rules, because they understand that they have no legal basis, since the contract itself provides for a change in terms," - he said.
