Industrial costs of EP KMG grow by 31%

"In 2014, production costs amounted to 212 billion tenges ($1.1 billion) that is by 31% more than in 2013, mainly due to higher employee benefit costs in production units," – the report says.
It is noted that in 2014 the cost of remuneration of employees increased by 41% as compared with 2013. The growth was mainly caused by indexation of wages of production personnel by 7% from January 2014, introduction of a uniform wage system for production staff in April 2014, and increase of the salary by 10%  due to the devaluation of the tenge in April 2014 in addition to the one-time payment of premiums, associated with commemorative events in 2014.
