Increase of throughput capacity required by Bishkek-Almaty gas pipeline

Kyrgyz section of the Bukhara gas district-Tashkent-Bishkek-Almaty main gas pipeline requires an increase in throughput capacity nearly two times for uninterrupted supply of gas to consumers in Almaty and the Almaty region, KazTransGas said on Tuesday.

According to the company’s information, the issue of increasing the capacity of the gas pipeline was discussed by representatives of KazTransGas and Gazprom.
