Poland may speed the work on an increase of energy independence and updating of the army because of the situation in the Ukraine. The Polish Prime Minister D.Tusk stated.
There occurred a shift in power in the Ukraine on February 22th. The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has suspended Yanukovich from work, modified the constitution, imposed presidency on the speaker A.Turchinov and scheduled a presidential election for May 25th. Yanukovich asserted during the press-conference in Rostov-on-Don that he was still a legally elected head of the state. Moscow finds the legitimacy of Rada disputable.
