In the first two months, gas production in Russia grew by 0.6%

In January-February, the gas production in Russia increased by 0.6% as compared with the same period of the last year and made up 123.651 billion cubic meters, and the export grew by 6.3% to 39.194 billion cubic meters, the Central Dispatch Department of the Fuel and Energy Sector reports.

In the first two months, the largest Russian gas producer Gazprom reduced the production by 0.9% to 90.801 billion cubic meters. In January-February, Novatek extracted 10.216 billion cubic meters (+3.9%). The internal gas consumption grew by 1.8% and made up 103.277 billion cubic meters in January-February.
