Rosneft and the United Arab Emirates consider joint projects in Russia

Rosneft and companies and funds of the United Arab Emirates have discussed potential projects in the field of upstream and downstream in the territory of Russia, the largest Russian oil company reports.

On Friday, Rosneft’s president Igor Sechin held a working meeting with the United Arab Emirates’s Minister of Energy Suhail Mohamed Faraj Al Mazur. The parties discussed implementation of the current projects in the United Arab Emirates, particularly a project in the Sharjah emirate, where Rosneft carries out geological exploration together with Crescent Petroleum, as well as cooperation in the field of oil products supply.
