From mid 2014 Evraz plans to sell up to 50 thousand tons of coal per month from the Mejegey deposit.

Starting in June - July 2014, Evraz Plc expects to begin sales of coal from the Mezhegey coalfield in Tyva in the amount of 30-50 thousand tons per month, the company announced to the “Prime” agency.

Evraz already performs the pilot extraction. In April, Evraz reported that the production capacity of Mezhegey field mining should reach 1.5 million tons per year by mid 2014. The company plans to spend $111 million  for the development of the Mejegey coal field.
