The Ukraine wants to raise the oil transit tariff via the Druzhba pipeline

The oil suppliers to Europe by the southern branch of the Druzhba pipeline haven’t re-signed the long-term contracts for the next year, Argus reports explaining it by the growth of transit risks due to the complicated situation in the Ukraine. According to the Russian internet-newspaper “Oil transport territory”, the Ukraine wants to raise the tariff for raw materials products output by the oil pipeline on the territory of the country by 9%.

A source close to the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of the Ukraine reported to “Oil transport territory” that it is planned to raise the tariff for oil transit by the southern branch of Druzhba by 9%. The prices will be nominated in euro, the source said.
