Since January 1, 2015 Russia would reduce the price of gas to consumers in Turkey by 6%, the Russian President Vladimir Putin reported in Ankara on December 1, 2014.
"From 1 January 2015 at the request of the Turkish partners and bearing in mind the expansion of cooperation in the oil and gas sector, we will lower the price of "blue fuel" for Turkish consumers by 6%, and will be ready to reduce these rates further with the implementation of our major joint projects", - he stated.
