The European Commission will hold the meeting with the governments of the EU states about South Stream on December 9th.

The meeting will be held irrespective of the Russia’s announcement about cancelling of the project.

South Stream project is constantly discussed by the EU states participating in the project and by the EC. The latter has held several sessions that should have found the decision about the project that would fully correspond to the European law. The next session is planned for December 9th, 2014, the Vice Chairman of the EC for the Energy Union, M. Šefčovič says.
