In January – September, the Ukraine reduced carbonaceous steel smelting by 13.5% to 21.495 million tons, Metallurgprom reports. Within the period, the Ukraine reduced cast iron yield by 9.9% to 19.736 million tons, and rolled steel by 13.7% to 18.885 million tons.
