As of the beginning of October, Gazprom has reduced gas injection to the Russian underground gas storages by 8.7% to 36.621 billion cubic m, the Central Dispatch Department of the Fuel and Energy Sector reports.

The results is by 3.163 billion cubic m less in comparison to the corresponding period of the previous year, and by 7.979 billion cubic m less in comparison to the plan.

In September, gas injection was by 1.1 billion cubic m less than planned.
