Gas transit via the Ukraine fell by 8.6% over 8 months; in August rose by 48.4%
In Jan-August 2015 the Ukraine reduced gas transit to Europe and Moldova by 8.6% (by 3 bln 999.2 mln cubic m) against Jan-August 2014 – to 42 bln 320.1 mln cubic m.
According to Ukrtransgas, in Jan-August 2015, 40 bln 454.2 mln cubic m of gas were shipped to Europe by transit via the Ukraine, 1 bln 865.9 mln cubic m to Moldova.
In August 2015 gas transit to Europe and Moldova rose by 48.4% (by 2 bln 198.5 mln cubic m) against August 2014 to 6 bln 737.4 mln cubic m. In August 2015 gas transit via the Ukraine to Europe made up 6 bln 563.1 mln cubic m, to Moldova – 174.3 mln cubic m.
In 2014 gas transit via the Ukraine fell by 27.8% (by 23 bln 928.7 mln cubic m) against 2013 to 62.197 bln cubic m, in Q1 2015 – by 31.4% to 12 bln 764.6 mln cubic m.
In H1 the Ukraine increased oil transit to the EU by 5% to 7.799 mln tons.
