Longxing launches polymetallic Kyzyl-Tashtyg GOK in Tyva

Longxing LLC (owned by Chinese Zijin Mining Group) has launched Kyzyl-Tashtyg GOK at the polymetallic deposit of the same name in Tuva, the press-service of the Government of the republic states.

The investment amounted to 16.8 billion rubles. The GOK will annually bring up to 400 million rubles in the form of income taxes and fees into the budget of Tuva. This is the first post-Soviet large-scale manufacturing site, built and launched in the region from scratch, exclusively on private investment, the report says.
