SOCAR exports 2.1 mln tons of oil in June

The marketing and economic transaction management of SOCAR announced that Azerbaijani oil exports increased by 15.2% in June 2014 against May.

According to SOCAR, there was exported 2198.093 thousand tons of oil in June 2014 against 1907.402 thousand tons in May and 2412.603 thousand tons in April. Oil export in Q2, 2014 makes up 6518.098 thousand tons against 4768.483 thousand tons in Q1, 2014.

There was exported 84.577 thousand tons via Baku-Novorossiysk oil pipeline, 242.039 thousand tons via Baku-Supsa and 1871.477 thousand tons via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline in June.

“The export made up 12274.689 thousand tons in 2014, including 508.222 thousand tons via Baku-Novorossiysk, 1452.574 thousand tons via Baku-Supsa and 10313.893 thousand tons via BTC,” is said in the statement.
