FAS may initiate proceedings against Gazprom because of Power of Siberia

In June, Rosneft has filed a complaint to the Federal Antimonopoly Service on a violation of anti-monopoly legislation by Gazprom in terms of its denial of access to the Power of Siberia pipeline for independent gas producers for gas supplies to China, deputy head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service Anatoly Golomolzin reported to the Izvestia.

- Currently, we consider the complaint and will collect relevant materials. In mid-July, it will be decided whether we will initiate proceedings about any violations of antitrust laws in relation to Gazprom, - said Golomolzin.

It is also reported that Rosneft spread the message, in which it declared its readiness to sue Gazprom, and to complain about the gas monopoly to regulators because of the denial of access to the future gas pipeline Power Siberia for gas supply to China for independent gas producers.
