The capacity of PET Ethana Complex can increase to 1.5 million tons by 2022

The complex for PET production built by Ethana in Kabardino-Balkaria will be launched in 2016. The capacity of PET Ethana Complex can increase 486,000 tons by 2017, and to 1.5 million tons by 2022, the Minister of Energy of Russia, A. Novak said at the session of the governmental commission for the issues of the social and economic development of the North-Caucasus federal area. The raw materials will be supplied to the plant by the Russian enterprises, and from 2018, they are going to start their own raw material production, mono-etheleneglycole.

In April, the CEO of Ethana ,S. Ashinov claimed that they completed construction of the infrastructure of the complex.
