Bashneft gives petrochemical assets to United Petrochemical Company

On Monday, Bashenft reported that it had completed the consolidation of its petrochemical assets within the framework of the United Petrochemical Company (ONK). The election of the ONK’s Board of Directors, which will be continued to be headed by Yakov Goldovsky, was also announced.

The annual general meeting of ONK’s shareholders took place in Moscow on June 28th, Bashneft’s press center reported on Monday (the oil company is the owner of ONK).

The new ONK Board was elected at the meeting; it includes, in particular, the former co-owner and ex-head of the company, Yakov Goldovsky, the Vice Presidnet of AFK Sistema, Felix Evtushenkov, Bashneft’s President, Alexander Korsik, the former mayor of Moscow, Yuri Luzhkov and ONK president Kirill Tyurdenev, as well as Vladimir Uvakin and Salambek Khadjiev. The meeting of the Board, which elected Y.Goldovsky its Chairman, took place on Saturday.
