UC Rusal and Maersk Line sign agreement of intent

UC Rusal, one of the largest aluminum producers in the world, and Maersk Line, the largest operator of container traffic, have signed an agreement of intent on cooperation in the field of cargo transportation for three years. The parties agreed on the long-term cooperation in the field of maritime transport: transportation of the company’s goods, mainly aluminum and its alloys, will be served by container fleet and ships of Maersk. The estimated volume of the traffic can be up to 10 thousand containers per year. The duration of the agreement is three years with the possibility of further extension of the established cooperation.
