In January - May 2016, the oil production in Russia increased y 5.056 million tons, or 2.3% compared to the same period in the previous year to 225.462 million tons, the Central Dispatch Department of the Fuel and Energy Sector reports.
Including, in May, the oil production in Russia amounted to 45.789 million tons, which is by 0.496 million tons, or 1.1% more than in the same period in 2015.
