Oil exports from Azerbaijan to the USA are halved in Q1

In January-March 2014, the USA imported 1.05 million barrels of oil from Azerbaijan against 2.08 million barrels in January-March 2013. Trend reports citing EIA.
In 2013, America imported 10.41 million barrels of oil against 8.83 million barrels in 2012.
The BTC oil pipeline is the main export route for the Azerbaijani oil. The oil is delivered to the Turkish port of Ceyhan.
The oil is also exported from the Georgian port Supsa, where it arrives via Baku-Supsa oil pipeline.
