Gazprom knows conditions of the Ukraine, it can make concessions

The Ukraine is still the largest buyer of Russian natural gas, however, despite this, in recent years the Russian gas monopoly Gazprom has had the most strained relations with the Ukraine. Several years ago, Russia accused the Ukraine of the theft of gas, which caused disruption of the supplies to European consumers, but then it managed to solve all problems more or less peacefully, and now Kiev threatens Moscow with a law suit over the price of the purchased "blue fuel".

Naftogaz Ukrainy sent to Gazprom a draft supplement agreement with its conditions.

According to Ukrainian mass media, which referred to press centre of Naftogaz Ukrainy, the Ukrainian gas company has sent to Gazprom a draft supplementary agreement between the two companies to the contract of natural gas sale for the period from 2009 to 2019 years, concluded on January 19th of 2009. Let’s recall that this contract became an important Ukrainian domestic policy factor, as well as the cause of the imprisonment of ex- premier Yulia Tymoshenko.
