Rosneft buys Orenburg Drilling Company

Rosneft has closed the transaction for purchase of 100% in Orenburg Drilling Company from VTB Leasing JSC. The purchase of the Orenburg Drilling Company is the main part of the program for reequipping of the fleet of Rosneft’s drilling utilities and the realization of the strategy for the enlargement of the share of the internal service sector. The purchase will enable it to provide the most important regions of the company’s operational activity with the drilling capacities on the terms of maximum efficiency from the point of view of price formation.
