Gazprom to additionally capitalize South Stream for $639 mln

​The Board of Gazprom has made a decision on the additional capitalization of South Stream Transport B.V. – company- operator of South Stream – for the total amount of $638.97 mln.

According to the company, about $112.97 mln were transferred to the capital in Q4 2014, $515.32 mln will be transferred in Q1 2015.

Eni in its February financial report said that it had sold 20% of shares in South Stream Transport to Gazprom for $60.53 mln.

In December 2014 Gazprom signed agreements with Eni, Wintershall and EDF on the purchase of 50% in South Stream Transport B.V. and became the holder of 100%.
