Russia decreases state excise duty on export oil by $57.3 per ton

From February 1, the export duty on oil in Russia decreased by $57.3 to $112.9 per ton. Let’s recall that in January 2015 the export duty was $170.2 per ton.

Also the preferential rate of duty on crude oil from Eastern Siberia was zeroed - January 1 it was $11.9 per ton.

This became possible due to the fact that under the tax maneuver in the oil industry, with a decrease of oil prices below $65 per barrel, the rate should be zero.
