By 2030 Gazprom to sell gas at 60% of Kirghizia’s territory

By 2030 Gazprom wants to sell gas at 60% of the territory of Kyrgyzstan. By the general gasification scheme planned for the coming 15 years, Gazprom plans to provide gas supply at 60% of the territory of Kyrgyzstan. This is the information of the CEO of “Gazprom promgas”, Y. Spektor.

He said that the program’s realization presupposes the growth of the gas pipeline networks length in Kirghizia up to 2.75 thousand km, construction of the north-south pipeline, construction of LNG units and construction of 2 gas distribution stations in Bishkek.

Gazprom purchased the controlling package of shares of Kirghizgas in the spring 2014. The company also showed its readiness to invest about 20 bln roubles in the infrastructure, geological exploration and other projects on the of the territory of Kyrgyzstan.
