Zaporozhstal of Metinvest has started realization of the investment project costing $1.5 billion

Zaporozhstal of Metinvest has started the realization of the investment project for construction of a new oxygen-converter shop. They have started the clearing and the preparation of the territory for the new shop at the former mine dumps of the combine in the Markusova narrow.

Investment into the project is over $1.5 billion. The construction of the new shop will enable the combine to dispose of the outdated Martin production and to considerably reduce man-induced impact to the environment. The awaited reduction in waste emission to the atmosphere is 25% of the total emissions of the combine.
