BP is not going to change its shareholding in Rosneft

BP owning 19.75% in Rosneft is not going to change its shareholding in the company, the BP’s official representative claims.

In November, the chief of BP, R. Dudley said that BP would remain faithful to Rosneft despite the sanctions.

On December 1st, the Premier D. Medvedev signed the governmental order about alienation of 19.5% in Rosneft for further privatization.

Earlier the chief of Rosneft I. Sechin said to the journalists that the company had the positive attitude towards the idea of privatization of the state shareholding within 2 tranches. He claimed that the price of the stock in privatization would be $8.12.
