Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers increases quota on import of coke coal

During the session on October 30 of 2013, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to increase quota on import of coke coal by 1 million tons to 11.2 million tons, the magazine Capital reports.

The expert report says that the quotas introduction was good to increase the sales of coal, produced in Ukrainian mines: in the first eight months of 2012 the import of coke coal made up 9.357 million tons, and in the first eight months of 2013 – 8.757 million tons.
