Belarus plans to receive 23 million tons of Russian oil in 2014

Belarus plans to receive 23 million tons of oil from Russia in 2014, the First Deputy Minister of the Economy, Anatoly Filonov stated.

A.Filonov noted that Russian invitation to discuss issues of the balance for 2013 and to consider the project for the next year had been received.

In 2013, Belarus receives less oil, than it was planned in the balance. “But we will substantiate the necessity of its implementation in full measure – 23 million tons,” – the First Deputy Minister said, noted that the decrease of oil supplies took place in September and October. In September, Belarus received by 400 thousand tons of oil less, the October assessment hasn’t been ready yet. At the same time, the supplies by railway grew.
