The head of “Gazprom” and vice-premier of the Ukraine discussed continuous Russian gas transit this winter

The chairman of Gazprom A.Miller and vice-premier of the Ukraine Y.Boiko have discussed  bilateral cooperation in the gas sector. Gazprom states about it.

In particular, the parties have also discussed the readiness of the gas transportation system of the Ukraine for uninterrupted transportation of  Russian gas to Europe this winter. A special attention was given to a process of natural gas injection into the underground gas storages by “Naftogas Ukrainy”.

As ITAR-TASS reported earlier, Kiev considers a proposal on the increase of fuel injection into the Ukrainian underground gas storages.
