In January – August, the Ukraine reduced steel production by 11% to 19.69 million tons. Metallurgprom reports that common rolled steel yield reduced by 11% to 17.34 million tons, and cast iron yield reduced by 6% to 18.20 million tons.
In August, the Ukraine reduced production of steel by 33.2% to 1.65 million tons, common rolled steel by 32.1% to 1.49 million tons, and cast iron by 33.2% to 1.5 million tons.
