China and Turkmenistan intend to develop gas cooperation

The Deputy general director of China Petroleum Joint Stock Company PetroChina, Lu Gunsyun has stated in an interview with the news agency "Xinhua" that China and Turkmenistan are the largest partners in gas cooperation for each other, and this cooperation is characterized by a solid foundation and broad prospects.

According to Lu Gunsyun, the visit of the President of China Xi Jinping in Turkmenistan in 2013 attached great impetus to the development of the gas cooperation between the two countries. And the visit, recently made by Vice Prime Minister of the Chinese State Council, Wu Yi Zhang Gaoli further promoted the execution of various contracts and agreements of Governments and enterprises of China and Turkmenistan.
