Tatneft operates 610 injection wells using technology of dual injection operation

Tatneft continues to apply innovations that provide for theefficient operation of its fields. One of them is the method of dual injection.
610 injection wells are currently operated using the dual injection technology.
In the first six months of 2014, the dual injection technology was introduced at 42 injection wells of the company. Additional oil production from extraction wells made up over 1.3 million tons.
A program on the protection of casing string of wells is implemented in the company to protect underground equipment from the effects of high pressure and corrosion failure. In the first six months of this year, wall packer M1-X were introduced at243 injection wells as a part of this program.
