SOCAR reduced gas exports volume to Russia in H1

SOCAR in H1 2014 exported about 100 mln cubic m of gas to Russia, the company reports.
In H1 2013 SOCAR exported 876 mln cubic m of gas to Russia.
The Azeri gas supply to Russia is held on the basis of the purchase-and-sale contract of the Azeri gas between Gazprom and SOCAR signed in Baku on October 14th 2009.
The reduction of the exports volumes is connected with the held earlier repair and recovery works at the gas pipeline from Azerbaijan to Russia. The gas supply was shutdown in January and recovered in June 2014.
At the present time the gas supply to Russia is held at a normal regime, the source said.
In 2013 SOCAR exported 1.37 bln cubic m of gas to Russia.
