Gelios LLP was fined for 535 mln tenge for anticompetitive gas supply

The Board of Appeals for Civil and Administrative Issues of the Pavlodar region by its order has fined “Gelois” LLP by the case on the anticompetitive supplies to the LNG market, the Competition Protection Agency of Kazakhstan reported.

It is reported that earlier the Agency initiated administrative cases by the fact of signing the anticompetitive agreement in the LNG supply market in respect of KazMunaiGas JSC and Gelios LLP.

In 2012 having considered the investigation materials in respect of KazMunaiGas JSC, it attracted the company to the administrative liability in the form of penalty for the amount of more than 438 mln tenge that was paid to the budget.
