The largest Lithuanian importer of Russian gas Lietuvos dujos brings forward strict requirements on the new contract with Gazprom. The company insists on the reconsideration of the pricing formula and a reduction of obligatory purchases. Currently the price of Gazprom for Lithuania is one of the highest in Europe, though the monopoly has already offered Lietuvos dujos a 20% discount. At the same time, in 2014 Lithuania can put into operation an LNG acceptance terminal which can reduce its dependence on Russia.
