In the first six months of 2013, TNK-Uvat, the Rosneft subsidiary, produced about 4.1 million tons of oil in the south of the Tyumen region that is by 22% or by 751 thousand tons more than in the same period of the last year, the company reports.
The daily oil production at the Uvat group of fields reached 24.7 thousand tons and exceeds the rates of the first six months of 2012 by 28.8%. The significant production growth became possible due to an increase of drilling and the development of the infrastructure. Thus, in the first six months, 64 operating and service wells were drilled.
