Ukrgazdobycha can stabilize gas production at the level of 15.5-16 billion cubic meters if gas price increases by two times

Ukrgasdobycha can stabilize the gas production at the level of 15.5-16 billion cubic meters per year on condition that the gas prices will be increased two times to generate the necessary financial resources for investment, the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy reported.

Investments into the East Poltava gas condensate field are necessary to maintain the level of production. On the whole, Ukrgasdobycha should launch five new compressor stations by the end of the year. Next year, it’s planned to start the construction of 8 new and the modernization of 6 existing stations. These works will allow Ukrgasdobycha to stabilize the gas production at the level of 15.5-16 billion cubic meters per year.
