In June, Zaporozhstal continued to increase production of steel and rolled metal

In June 2014, the metallurgical plant Zaporozhstal of Rinat Akhmetov’s Metinvest increased the production of the basic types of metal products. Thus, the production of finished rolled metal increased by 8.3% as compared with the same period of the previous year to 271.4 thousand tons, the steel smelting grew by 2.5% to 320.9 thousand tons and the cast iron production increased by 2.9% to 268.1 thousand tons, the press centre of Zaporizhstal reported.
