Gazprom summed up its year

Gazprom realized large scale projects, implemented unique technologies and diversified its energy products supply in 2013.

The head of the company A.Miller gave a report: “The main result of the year is the strengthening of our leadership in the energy sector.” Besides, he has mentioned the results of Gazprom’s subsidiary “Gazpromneft”. The company develops deposits in the Yamal-Nenents and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous area, Omsk, Tomsk, Tyumen, Orenburg and Irkutsk regions and Yakutia. In 2013 we produced 50.6 million tons of oil.

In 2013, Gazpromneft took the leading positions in the sector on oil production growth rate. The optimization of development of the current deposits, the active implementation of new technologies and an increase of the asset portfolio have contributed to the growth of production by 4.3% to 62.3 million tons of oil equivalent. The start of commercial development of the Prirazlomnoye deposit on the Pechora Sea became a significant project in the field of production last year. It is for the first time in the world that there realized project on hydrocarbon production at the Arctic shelf from a permanent offshore platform.
