Gazprom may receive a stake in one of Wintershall’s assets in Argentina

Gazprom’s negotiations on joining the German Wintershall’s gas assets in Argentina are close to completion. According to the Vedomosti, legally binding documents may be signed with the German company in mid-July.
In July 12-13, the Russian President Vladimir Putin will arrive to Argentina. Energy projects are planned to be discussed during the visit and documents between Gazprom and Wintershall can be signed.
